Detection of body temperature changes in human subjects have been a key indicators in determining if a person is ill. Early identification of elevated temperature allows for both a faster response to the patients needs and the ability to quickly isolate the patient for the prevention of contamination to others. Detection of elevated body temperature at a distance allows for even greater response times and protection for the screener.

Thermal Matrix offers a solution for the Stand-Off Detection of Elevated Body Temperatures (SDEBT). SDEBT is provided by a system of infrared sensors and aid target recognition software hosted on a small light weight operator console. The SDEBT system can detect temperature shifts at stand-off ranges accurately and efficiently.

Thermal Matrix’s SENSOR technology was originally developed for the United States Military and the Department of Homeland Security. SDEBT is a logical straight forward adaptation of this proven technology.
