Thermal Matrix USA purchases first ThruVision T4000 Terahertz imager sold in the United States
Thermal Matrix USA, a Force Protection Systems Integrator, under a contract to the US Army to evaluate technologies for the detection of hidden weapons and explosives, has established a relationship with ThruVision, a UK company that developed the first commercially available terahertz imager.
The terahertz imager, the T4000, will be evaluated by Thermal Matrix for military and commercial applications.
“Our goal is to integrate the T4000 into our suite of sensors for detecting hidden weapons and explosive devices,” says Mike Smith, Thermal Matrix Vice President.
